Target group / admission requirements
You would like to work in the gastronomy and tourism industry or are already in work and want to expand your skills. You are at least 16 years old, have a high school certificate, or equivalent and have completed 10 years of schooling. In addition, you have completed vocational training of at least 2 years duration or you have at least 3 years of work experience. Lessons will be taught in English, so it is necessary that you should have knowledge in the English language at the secondary level.
The HBEC offers a specially designed study program in hospitality management. In order to guarantee a multifaceted traineeship, each of the diploma courses has 3 to 4 different certified learning paths in the areas of language and communication, catering and service training, housekeeping, beverage courses, accounting, hotel administration, business leadership seminars, as well as economy and law. The training is practically orientated and in addition to theoretical courses, has paid training in the hotel industry, gastronomy or tourism.
